Rebuilding Lost Connections

The Duzenman Family — Lublin & Kurow, Poland.

For Jewish families, genealogy is rarely just an academic pursuit. Shifting European borders, mass migrations, and the profound tragedy of the Holocaust fractured countless families, leaving behind deep archival silence and broken lines.

The most rewarding part of my work is helping people bridge those gaps. I utilize forensic genealogy and advanced DNA analysis to reconnect families—whether that means helping an adoptee uncover their biological heritage, breaking through century-old brick walls, or discovering long-lost relatives you never knew existed. Finding out that a relative survived, built a life, and has living descendants today is a powerful, life-changing experience.

Because my time is fully dedicated to a demanding career in real estate, I do not operate this as a commercial business or a corporate agency. Instead, I offer my private research skills strictly as a philanthropic passion project. I do not accept personal payment. In lieu of fees, I request that clients make a direct, tax-deductible donation to JewishGen or Yad Vashem.

I accept just one or two cases at a time as my professional schedule permits, selecting projects from my waitlist where I feel my specific experience can make the most meaningful impact.
